Bruce Hampton

Musician, Vocalist, Composer, Actor. He was known for his energetic, eccentric style and often regarded as the granddaddy of the jam band scene. He was born in Tennessee and grew up in Atlanta. He first gained attention in the late 1960's and early 1970's and he was a founding member of the Hampton Grease Band. The band broke up in 1973.
