Edward Thomas "Eddie" Rabbitt was an American country music singer and songwriter. Beginning as a songwriter in the late 1960s, he began a solo career in the mid-70s, being among the first to make Country music in a Pop-crossover style. He is best known for his #1 crossover hit "I Love A Rainy Night", "Drivin' My Life Away" from the same album, and "Every Which Way But Loose", the title song to the Clint Eastwood movie.
