Abu Sa'ied learns that Mohamed is Umm Harun's son whom Abu Sa'ied raised after the fire brought her house to ashes. Umm Sa'ied reads Mariam's diaries and learns she loves another man other than her husband.

Dawud reports Zanouba to the mental hospital and she is admitted into it. Umm Harun tells Mohamed he owns Abu Sa'ied's house and is entitled to half of the properties.
