In a morning-after-the-night-before sequence, we see Sasha thinking about when she turned down Riggs' proposal, Jamie thinking about his conversation with Sooz after he'd slept with Nicki and Nicki feeling confused about her predicament with Jamie. Plus Sooz wide awake remembering Sasha telling her about Jamie and Nicki, and Rob waking up to find a girl in his bed, who catches him sneaking out. Only Alex and Mark are happy but this is threatened when Mark receives a phone cal from Rachel, his ex, who is distraught after losing her job.

Through the use of a split-screen format, we get to see the story from both Sooz and Jamie's point of view. Jamie and Sooz lie to each other that they are going on dates that night to make the other jealous.

Nicki's mum is concerned about her daughter's attitude to men and sex, and the fact that she doesn't seem to have ever had a proper relationship (just sex) so she tries to talk to her. Jamie decides to get a job, especially because he needs to buy Sooz a replacement Mini-Disc player which he broke whilst doing his own version of karate.

Alex decides to shop around for a new boyfriend and soon ends up checking out his old catch Dan. Mark is left in the dark, but when Jamie's new career leads him to the heart of the happy reunion, Alex is left to pay a hefty price.

Sasha is the new scarlet woman now that Nicki has turned over a new leaf. Sooz tries make it on her, while Mark opts for a cosy twosome, leaving Alex to presume the worst of one of his friends.

Rob turns into the landlord from hell, until he meets someone worth dropping a lot more than the rent for. Nicki and Mark come clean about their recent liaisons.

Tensions build between Sasha and Mark as they continue to share Rob's flat. Sasha is pissed that she's not been invited to Sooz's welcome back from hospital do, so she resolves to confront the matter directly by talking to Sooz. Meanwhile Jamie and Alex have a go at becoming male strippers when they find out how well it pays.

Alex and Jamie have found out that stripping is a very profitable job. But things go very wrong when they "go to work" for the first time... they even get arrested. Also the gang organize a "party" for Sooz, only Sasha isn't invited but she's going to change that.

Jamie gets a job waiting tables at a 'Table Dancing' club. His boss asks him to go on a special errand. Unfortunately Jamie is distracted by one of the dancers and doesn't catch the address of the Italian restaurant where he is supposed to deliver his boss's parcel.

Everyone insists on Sooz getting some therapy, but all she does is bitch about the nosiness of her friends. She finally gives in and goes to a therapy group secretly, where she meets an interesting guy named Seb.

Nicki realizes that her relationship with Mark is the longest she's ever been in. That scares her a bit, specially when she finds out Alex is having a birthday party and didn't invite her.

Alex catches Mark with Grant again. He doesn't want to interfere with Nicki or Mark's lives. However, Nicki overhears the whole thing at Rob's flat. Mark disappears, leaving Rob a note to say, "Thank You".

Sasha is approached by a man in the pub, "Charlie Chapman", offering her a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. He promises he can make her become a presenter.

Sooz is in jeopardy. Just when she is falling in love with Seb - he's hospitalised.

Jamie has problems sleeping. He has visits from a "guide" that show the future to be of Alex, Nicki, Rob, Sasha, Sooz and himself. In the dream, Sasha is a superstar called Space Bitch, Nicki has kids, Alex is selling financial services and Rob has a beard. However, Sooz is not to be seen.
