In a paranoid rage, Sam kills one of the intruders, and the couple stage the scene to make it look like self-defence.

Bailey starts to pursue her suspicions surrounding the case, but finds only a series of dead-ends. Meanwhile, Rebecca is approached by an old acquaintance who may become a very dangerous enemy.
