However, Beaudreaux was lying it seems that Hardin didn't die but was in a coma and Beaudreaux chose not to tell Grady about this. But what Beaudreaux doesn't know is that Hardin regained consciousness and has been walking around, and has accepted a job. Grady finds out who he is working for, and he and Beaudreaux get Hardin and this time he is dead.
