Sep 13, 1949Evans, an older man, walks into a record store, slips the young clerk, Fred, a huge bill and pleads for him to come to his hotel to discuss something important. He goes and finds Evans beaten and mumbling something about a record. Fred gets knocked out and awakens to find Evans now dead and himself set-up to take the rap for his murder. Fred races back to the store, hoping to find the record the dead man was talking about.
