Their rekindling is rocky, especially when Alphonse finds out that his father has secretly worked as a gigolo his whole life.

Alphonse’s long-lost mother, recently widowed in Italy, takes a trip back to Paris.

Jacques attempts to go back to work only to find he may be in love with Marthe, the most difficult of clients. Adèle succumbs to failing health and bequeaths her remaining fortune to Alphonse.

Newly enriched, Alphonse wants to treat his wife to the lavish life they always dreamed of, but Jacques feels the money is rightfully his and makes off with it. We learn Alphonse’s mother was forced to abandon the family under duress.

Nov 2, 202353mAlphonse and Margot have to improvise a jet-setter’s vacation in Nice. Lonely in Paris, Alphonse’s mother calls an escort service that comes highly recommended. After proposing marriage to Marthe, Jacques gets outmaneuvered by Wilfried and loses the money to him. Alphonse’s first client back from vacation is a beautiful woman with a Southern accent.
