Nov 30, 200345mAl-Hajjaj kills Said bin Jubeir for disobeying him in years past to the dissatisfaction of the Caliph Al-Walid bin Abdul Malik and his inner circle. Al-Hajjaj dies after successfully establishing the Umayyad caliphate on a strong basis free of conflict and strife.
