Mar 18, 198149mRui (Mano Kyoko) turns down Chiyoji (Oka Mayumi) who requests a room at the Kawasemi Inn, lying that it is fully booked. When Togo (Onodera Akira) asks why, Rui says that Chiyoji has come several times before, but always with a different man. Rui says that she cannot provide a room for such a business. Togo learns that Chiyoji is a geisha, but a geisha cannot run such a business on her own. Chiyoji has her own issues with her mother Okatsu (Fumino Tomoko), and she also has difficult problems with Kijimaya Tokijiro (Kishibe Ittoku).
