Jan 11, 199960mNazuna shows up to return Sôichirô's coat, and thank him. Nazuna and Sô-chan go on a date. Natsuki bumps into Kuga her former tutor, now a doctor. Natsuki waits for his call in Sô-chan's room. Sô-chan wonders who she is waiting for.

Jan 18, 199954mKuga lets slip he has a daughter, and is divorced. He buys Natsuki a dolphin which breaks when she fights with Fuyumi. Haruko sends the wrong script. Natsuki and Sô-chan help her, and grow closer. Nazuna feels jealous of Natsuki.

Temperature of a Kiss
Jan 25, 199960mEveryone panics when it looks like Fuyumi tried to kill herself. Kuga patches her up. Sô-chan says he'd break off with someone he couldn't make happy, and Natsuki agrees. A drunk Fuyumi kisses Kuga. Natsuki gets angry, and storms off, but Kuga goes after her, and kisses her for real. Natsuki calls home. Sô-chan answers, and finds out she is with Kuga, and won't be coming home.

The Temperature of a Kiss
Feb 1, 199960mSôichirô loses his job. He tells Natsuki, and the two go out drinking in a bar called "Over Time." Sôichirô explains "overtime" is like extra innings in a baseball game. Natsuki tells Haruko that Sôichirô lost his job, and Haruko tells Nazuna. Nazuna calls him to ask why he didn't tell her. The next morning she shows up outside his work with breakfast.
