Wild Tripper!! Season 2 begins in the southernmost town of Kagoshima Prefecture! When Yugo Kochi, Waku Motoki, and Fuga Onishi remove their blindfolds, they are greeted by a breathtaking view of the ocean. While making their way along a road with hardly anyone around, they happen to meet a local resident who offers to drive them to the mission location. But just as they're about to get into the car, a shocking fact comes to light. How will Kochi and the others make their way from the southernmost town? With little to no familiarity with Kagoshima Prefecture, the trio first has to get a grasp of the region's geography. However, because the missions are scattered all across the prefecture, they struggle to figure out where to begin and eventually find themselves completely stuck.

After an incredible stroke of luck allows Yugo Kochi, Waku Motoki, and Fuga Onishi to unexpectedly clear a mission, the trio's spirits are high despite it already being 5:00 p.m. They enthusiastically set their sights on the next challenge: finding "a daikon radish with a diameter of at least 30 centimeters." They stop at a roadside station in Tarumizu to gather information and discover a certain daikon. Kochi gets excited, thinking they've completed their second mission, only to realize he's made a major misunderstanding. Once again, a heavy silence settles over the group. However, after learning that the daikon they're looking for can definitely be found on Sakurajima, Kochi hitchhikes to the island. At a certain location on Sakurajima after nightfall, the trio experiences yet another miraculous encounter. And while Wild Tripper!! is known for its grueling overnight stays, this time the night takes an unexpected turn...

Yugo Kochi, Waku Motoki, and Fuga Onishi headed for their final mission: reaching the Kagoshima-Miyazaki prefectural border. After asking around, they were able to identify the location of a border marker. However, since it was still a considerable distance away, they made their way toward Miyazaki by hitchhiking, transferring between several different cars along the way. They finally arrived at the area where the border marker was supposed to be but there was no sign of it. Unsure whether they were even in the right place, the three continued walking along the mountain road. Then, just as filming for the first shoot came to an end, Season 2's new rule came into effect. A "Save Point" flag was placed at the location where filming ended, and the next shoot would resume from that exact spot. Nine days later, the next travelers, Rinne Sugeta and Tatsuru Matsuo, gathered at the Save Point.

To gather information about Miyazaki Prefecture, Yugo Kochi, Rinne Sugeta and Tatsuru Matsuo made their way to a roadside station. They struggled to find a driver willing to help them continue their journey, but then, all of a sudden, Kochi's hitchhiking sensor kicked in. Thanks to a kind couple, they secured a ride to their first mission: Ebino Plateau. Just as the three were about to begin visiting the area's crater lakes, they discovered that completing the route would take more than two hours. On top of that, an unexpected setback awaited them, pushing their physical stamina to its limits. While searching for a place to spend the night, Kochi proposed pitching their tent somewhere other than a campsite. Supported by the kindness of the people of Miyazaki, he, Rinne, and Tatsuru prepared a local specialty together. After spending a truly wild night unlike any they had experienced before, the three rested up to prepare themselves for the grueling mission awaiting them the next day.
