Among this week's challenges are "Hyttepakking" (packing the car), biathlon with Halvard Hanevold and accommodation with outhouse, which turns out to be a problem for Americans who are used to "inneliv" (stay indoors)

In addition, participants stays with Norwegian families, and strong ties are linked to the host families. Worse is it when the losing team must keep in mind what is the common Bread Spread for the Norwegian "matpakke" - "lunch".

This week the Americans are heading to northern Norway, specifically the fishing village Kjerringøy , close to Bodø. Here they will learn about how the Norwegians live at the long, tough and harsh Norwegian coast.

The first day, there is no contest, but the Americans have to put themselves into several parts of Norwegian heritage. They must include rehearsing "Dovregubbens hall" on the recorder, and read Norwegian fairy tales.

Now they must use everything they've learned about Norway to get through the finals three challenges, and both knowledge and rib fracture present a problem for some.
