    Leslie becomes convinced Buck has a drinking problem when he (Buck) comes in late after a night out. The staff is gathered for an intervention. But alcohol isn't Buck's real problem, keeping his drinking buddy's identity secret from Leslie is! The secret gets out and Leslie begins to consider himself too old and alone. Buck attempts to lift his boss' spirits with a night out and a surprise encounter!

    Leslie holds a short memorial service in the Greens & Grains bread isle where his father passed on. He comes to the realization that he has no one to pass his legacy on to if he passes away himself. Naturally he chooses Carl as heir. Leslie quickly becomes over involved in Carl's life causing an unfortunate series of events for the whole staff.

    The Bromance

    Todd wins some cows in poker and convinces Leslie the Greens & Grains should sell them as "The Freshest Meat In Town". Being over-zealous, Leslie thinks customers could choose their cow like they do a lobster in a seafood restaurant. Leslie begins to feel a special bond with Todd, his "bro" but the real trouble comes in trying to convince the FDA to let them slaughter cows in the store. Meanwhile a second "bromance" develops for Buck, who is trapped taking Richard to an Ice Skating audition for Lord of The Rings on Ice. Perhaps he can take this chance to make Richard a little more manly.

    Amy loses her job at the SuperValueMart so Leslie hires her as the new assistant manager of Greens & Grains. The staff is not impressed to say the least. Right away Amy forces Leslie to be more strict as a manager and tries to change the Greens & Grains into a cold, structured box store. The staff need to work hard to pull Leslie back from the edge of this black hole!

    On the cover of a promotional calendar featuring the staff dressed as heroes of American History, Ingrid soon displays her ignorance about her character Betsy Ross. It is soon discovered Ingrid is an illegal alien from Poland. Amy is jealous that Ingrid was chosen for the cover and attempts to do something about the Greens & Grains undocumented workers. Only Ingrid is not going silently and the rest of the staff revolts to prevent Amy getting the upper hand.

    The Greens & Grains is celebrating Renaissance Days! All the staff is dressed in 15th century clothes. At the end of the week the annual employee picnic will be held within the store itself! It is only when Leslie challenges Charles Kliphouse, new manager of the SuperValueMart, to a joust that things go wrong. Does Leslie have a good enough plan?
