In addition he has to face Seán's father who resents the disruption caused to his family life by the disclosure of the secret. The usually calm Patrick shocks everyone by his behaviour.

Nov 30, 200360mCathy and Ed attend Mary's funeral. The event gives them a chance to talk about their own grief over the baby. Back at the clinic, confusion reigns while the doctors are away. Mrs Fleming finally understands the truth about Fiona and apologises to Cathy and Ed for misjudging them.
