Dec 13, 2003Antwerp detective inspector Tom Segers and his partner Rob Biesemans have been after the drug gang of 'Rosse (i.e red-haired) John' for a long time. During a critical stake-out, they go in before reinforcements are properly in position, and Rob gets killed by Rosse. As if facing his buddy's widow and orphan weren't bad enough, Tom is under serious investigation by internal affairs. The two Jeans find a neighborhood terrorized by a youngsters' street gang, who scare possible witnesses out of testifying. Ivo fears he may have to leave to Antwerp PD to take care of his dementia-stricken wife. A jeweler reports his wife missing, she's found killed shortly after.
